The waiters wear tuxedo jackets, the wooden phone booths in the back are original, and the menu has not been meaningfully rewritten in living memory. The cooking is Italian-American done at a high level of competence rather than nostalgia — the chicken parm is enormous and correct, the clam sauce is properly briny. It sits on a quiet residential street that Williamsburg's transformation somehow routed around. Go before that changes.
