About RVR

RVR opened in late 2024 as Travis Lett's first major project since Gjelina — a Japanese izakaya format on Abbot Kinney that fuses the traditions of everyday Japanese drinking fare with California seasonal produce. Lett's command of vegetables is well-documented, and the izakaya format lets him run with it: the rotating salads and vegetable small plates are as essential as the raw fish. Immediately one of the hottest reservations on Abbot Kinney; the hiramasa hand roll and duck tsukune are the must-orders.
