Tacos El Bronco started as a truck on Fourth Avenue and grew into a full restaurant while keeping the thing that made it good: al pastor carved off a vertical spit, suadero cooked in fat, cabeza and lengua for anyone who orders past the safe options. The tortillas are doubled and the salsas have heat. Sunset Park has one of the strongest concentrations of Mexican food in the city and this is among the most consistently reliable addresses in it. It stays open late, which makes it the correct destination after almost anything else in south Brooklyn.
